Toddler Program (16 months to 3 years)

Our Toddler room aims to provide a safe, secure, and tender atmosphere for the very young child to grow to his or her full potential.  From entering until leaving our Center, each child is embraced in love and warmth of our long standing, experienced, and certified staff.  Our staff nurtures each child's development through organized, monthly themes and playful, educational activities.

Our Toddler class is well furnished with age appropriate, colorful, bright and safe equipment.  The classroom is cleaned, sanitized, and maintained regularly to keep the children safe and healthy.  Within the classroom, the children will have access to small, cozy areas so that they feel secure and comfortable.  There are also large spacious areas specified for large muscle movement.  Finally, there are areas designed for a story corner, singing and dancing, art projects, meals and naptime.  Each child is encouraged to enjoy the facilities and materials as an individual or in group play.

Through their sense of sight, sound, and touch, toddlers absorb the ideas of the world around them. The staff at our Center lovingly and generously gives language to the child. Ultimately, the child can find his or her own voice, define his or her own world, needs and personal space in harmony with those around him or her.

Montessori Preschool (3 to 5 years)

Our Montessori Preschool seeks to provide a thoughtful and methodically designed age appropriate environment for the young child.  The children are offered opportunities to grow and develop physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.  The children are nurtured under the direction and guidance of our certified, long standing staff with over 20 years of experience at our Center.

Our Montessori Preschool occupies three large, well-furnished separate rooms.  The design of the rooms, materials, and activities challenge the child academically and allow for fun play, while still catering to each child's individual, sensitive needs.  The child is encouraged to grow at his or her own pace, forging ahead, as far and as fast as they can, without limitations.  Each child is unique and is respected by others, as such children may enjoy and develop work habits in Reading, Writing, Math, Geography, History, Life Science, Music, Art, Computer, Language and Physical Education.

For the five- and six-year old child, we also offer a half day or a full day Kindergarten program at our Center.  School bus service is available to and from our Center to the Aquila Primary School.

Our children develop a positive attitude towards academics and an insatiable curiosity for the world around them.  While at our Center, our children strengthen their self-confidence, sense of order, and inner security.  Ultimately, our children will graduate from our Center with a solid foundation in education and an enthusiasm for creative learning.
