What is Airsoft? |
|
Airsoft is a team based skirmish sport played using realistic electric, gas and spring powered BB guns, mostly imported from Japan and China. The basic concept is similar to paintball, but the games are more tactical and realistic and the ammunition used is much less likely to cause any injury, as long as eye or full face protection is worn. Airsoft ammunition is also much cheaper than paintballs. The BBs can be fired upto 40 meters and the automatic electric guns can fire upto 15 shots a second. We can also play in mesh face masks which cannot stream up.
Ambush Wargames' aim is to offer airsoft games that satisfy both experienced players and newcomers alike. The game scenarios involve careful planning, stealth, cunning, surprise, it can be fast, furious, most of all it's exciting and great FUN! Set deep in the forest, our military style base camp is fully equipped to meet all your needs.
Honesty is a key element of airsoft, since there is no paint the hits don't mark you. Marshals will call you out if they see a hit, but the onus is on each player to be honest and immediately call themselves out of the game when they feel a hit on any part of their body or equipment, with the sole exception of the gun in your hand. Players who are hit will either return to the safe zone, or other assigned point to either be resurrected back into the game or await the next one.
Any player found blatantly cheating may be asked to leave the site.
